I’ve been a teacher for about 20 years now. I’ve taught in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Thailand, and also online.
I’ve taught the whole range of levels from young learners to professional adults and basic English speakers to IELTS learners.
Currently I’m working at a small university in Thailand.
I’ve also taught a lot on one on one classes – I really enjoy teaching one on one as I can really help the students develop their conversational skills and pronunciation (and even grammar).
It’s amazing to see how well they can progress.
I think my teaching style would be considered very warm and friendly. I believe students should be encouraged to do more than they think they can but not more than they are able.
I became a teacher because I wanted my life to go in a more worthwhile direction and after helping so many students improve their skills and seeing them go on to good schools and universities and good jobs it does give me a real feeling of satisfaction.

There are three parts to language learning.
1. Ear Training
2. Essential Vocabulary with Images and Flashcards
3. Making Sentences to Tell Stories (Simple and then more complicated)
Every English learner should move through these steps. In my classes, we will check your ability to identify the sounds of English, and then discover new vocabulary for you. (If you are more advanced, we will check this.) I will show you how to make flashcards to remember this new vocabulary.
Then we will choose two topics that you love to make many phrases and sentences. When you have the sentences and phrases, we will continue to discover the most common English words.

About Me
Teaching isn't just a career, it's my passion! Originally from Brazil, I now call Chicago home. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education (Foreign Language Pedagogy and Literature) from Universidade Federal de Pelotas, Brazil, providing a strong foundation in educational theories and methodologies.
